ello, my name is Amy Gyorgy, and here is a little bit about myself:
I am a Word Processor Operator for the Physical Plant Services Department of the University of New Orleans. I am a single mother of two grown children, both girls. I like to read science-fiction but my favorite thing to do in the world is dance. I belong to the Church of Scientology of Texas, Austin Day Organization. I have been a Scientologist since 1986.
In 1986 a friend of mine loaned me a copy of Dianetics. It took me a couple of months to read the book. When I was finished I wanted to know more about this subject. It sounded like something that might really work to make life better. I got a second-hand copy of " The Science of Survival" and after I read it my friend and I started a co-audit. Dianetic Auditing is the application of Dianetic procedures to an individual to help him become well and happy and a co-audit is when two people audit each other alternately.
After my friend and I started this my life got better. Little things did not upset me anymore and life was a whole lot more fun. One of the best things I remember about that time was auditing my friend and just knowing that he was doing better in life too.
I read every Scientology book that I could get my hands on. This was really exciting. I saw that this could really help not only me but everyone in my family. I thought wouldn't it be wonderful for my daughter to be able to have this at 15 when her life was just beginning instead of at the age that I found it. I got my sister and daughter into Scientology soon after I joined and about six years ago my mother joined the church. It was wonderful to see the people that I was closest to becoming happier and more able to handle the stresses of everyday
life.
