ello, my name is Andrew Crisp, and here is a little bit about myself:
I am a 46 year old an artist / illustrator and most of my time is spent designing graphics, painting or drawing something or other. It is my greatest pleasure to create, and if I can make a positive effect with what I have created it's very rewarding.
I have always been interested in "the spiritual" although I would not have called it that before I read about Scientology. I was looking for "something" -basically answers to "who am I?" etc. I have read and practiced other philosophies but none of them totally satisfied my curiosity. When I first read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health and then Fundamentals of Thought I realised I had found "it".
I found, in L. Ron Hubbard's writings, many references to artists and their value in society which were very validative to me. I also discovered lots of data that applied directly to my my work, which helped me in a very practical way. I the 60's I mistakenly experimented with drugs in my search for "the spiritual" and Scientology has helped me totally overcome their lingering effects. It is for this reason I support the work of NARCONON in our society in helping people off drugs of all kinds including alcohol addiction. It is an understatement to say that many of societies' deteriorating conditions can be improved with the removal of drugs from the scene.
