ello, my name is Andrew Staffer, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I am a Scientologist living in California with my wife and children, two boys and two girls. The youngest is Jasmin and she is only six months old. Her siblings Justin, Spencer and Sabrina really help out, even attempting the occasional diaper change. My wife Sandra and I get a kick out of watching them entertain her with all sorts of antics. We love to take the kids with us no matter where we go and they love to be treated as young adults. Professionally I am a hardware and software engineer and the Director of Research at Executive Software, an internationally renowned software development company. I am responsible for the development of new products and have helped create award-winning software used around the world. Software development is very fast paced and highly competitive. To be successful requires a highly talented team of technical and marketing expertise. I have been interested in high technology and research ever since I was a small boy. In my early youth I became very fascinated with the mind and wondered of its inner workings. After my first year of electronics in college where I learned about computers, I decided that I wanted to learn much more about the mind, the ultimate computer. My ultimate goal was to open an institute of research on the mind. A few weeks after making this decision I gave a lift to a stranger who had run out of gas in the pouring rain. He was very thankful for the ride and pulled a book off the dashboard of his truck. It was clear that he had not yet finished reading it, but he insisted that I take it in exchange for my help. The title of the book was Dianetics, The Modern Science of Mental Health. This was right up my alley and for the next day and a half I could not put it down until I had completed reading the entire book. It was page after page of incredible data on the mind; L. Ron Hubbard had done the research. I immediately found the nearest Church of Scientology to learn much more about the mind - that was over twenty-five years ago.
