What I find most fascinating about L. Ron Hubbard is the number of different subjects that he researched and for which he developed a workable technology. One of the first courses I took was in study technology, The Basic Study Manual. Although I was a good student and made it to college, it wasn't until after completing this short course that I understood the technology of study and how to successfully learn anything I wanted. More importantly I could actually apply what I had learned. I immediately went to the downtown reference library and started reading advanced books on electronics, acoustics and computers. I started applying the data and within a few months was developing high quality electronics products. Before long I was developing complex computer hardware and software systems. When people hear that I am self-taught in this area, they are amazed. Well what is really amazing is the study technology developed by L. Ron Hubbard that makes it easy for anyone to study so that they can understand and apply the data. After that successful course, needless to say, I took a lot more courses and learned a lot more of Ron Hubbard's workable technologies. My biggest success in Scientology is being in total control of my life. Scientology means "knowing how to know." Scientology is the operations manual of life. Imagine waking up everyday and no matter what comes up good or bad being able to totally handle it. Yes, sometimes it's tough, but it always gets handled and I always manage to come out on top. Imagine making a decision and having it occur just as you planned. Well this is exactly what Scientology technology has taught me - to be in total control of my life and this makes me very happy! You can learn the same technology of life and be as happy as you have ever dreamed!
