If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.
This book really helped me with clearly understanding the difference between man and an animal and the role of the unconscious mind. Hubbard has explained exactly what this consists of and what is the role of language in this. Through this understanding of people we became a lot more tolerant.
