ello, my name is Betty & Tony Hynes, and here is a little bit about myself:

Introduction:

          We are Betty & Tony Hynes and have been Scientologists for approximately 20 years and have raised our kids as Scientologists. For us Scientology has been fulfilling spiritually as well as giving us tools to use in our everyday lives. We both work together very closely as a team in what we do and have found this to be a key element in our marriage remaining strong. It's also enabled us to take on much more in life, including doing what we can to improve our community and having fun doing it. About Us:

          We have been married for 16 years and have two children 12 and 15 years old. We live on a ranch near Ottawa Canada (capital of Canada) and raise "Canadian Horses" as well as assortment of family pets. Our interests include theatre, movies, sports, travelling and music (being both musicians).

          We enjoy working with & assisting artists in being successful in their careers & personal lives. Using Scientology principles we have been able to assist various artists in this area. For example, as a musician being on tour can be difficult on you, your family and the relationships between various band members can be stressful. We have had great success in resolving these difficulties so that individuals can survive well and are happy in this kind of situation without having to sacrifice areas of their lives. The same kinds of situations can occur when you are on a movie set (especially away on location) with a group of people for extensive periods of time. We are very proud of our 2 children. The older boy is quickly becoming an accomplished musician/composer (keyboard player), while the younger has been professionally acting since the age of 8. We have found Scientology principles invaluable in assisting both the boys to reach their own goals in life.

          We also enjoy creating many exciting events which help in educating children in drug awareness and literacy through the Church's many community outreach programs. We've been honored to receive the support from celebrities in various walks of life on these endeavors such as the Toronto Blue Jays, the Toronto Maple Leafs, some members of the musicals Cats and Phantom of the Opera, the Beach Boys, Kris Kristopherson as well as many others. We are very thankful to these individuals and groups for lending their support & by doing so, setting a good example to other children and adults.

Our Careers:

          Tony founded and continues to manage a very successful multi-million dollar building restoration company based in Toronto and Ottawa which employs over 125 people. This was built up from a one man operation to it's current size. The management technology researched and developed by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard has been instrumental in this success.

          I have throughout the years worked alongside my husband in successfully establishing the business. I am still raising 2 kids and being a homemaker. I also spent 10 years as a church staff member working in various capacities as well as finding the time to be a parent volunteer in both the children's schools and working on community activities as mentioned above.
