ello, my name is Bob Graves, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I first learned of Scientology in April, 1972 while studying for my Master's Degree at the University of California, Davis. My personal views about the life had been strongly influenced by study of science and mathematics. Most of the self-help activities that were popular at the time didn't interest me because I couldn't see how they aligned with the principles of scientific inquiry. Nonetheless, I was strongly attracted to the subject of philosphy and felt there had to be a way to incorporate the strengths of science with the goals of philosophy. Scientology has proven to be the answer I was seeking. Not as a textbook that provided charts and tables of data, but as an applied religious philosophy that helps me understand myself better and how to improve my relations with my family, bussiness associates, and members of my community.
