My life before Scientology was an adventure I would not want to miss. But I now know it would have been quite a lot better with the knowledge I now have from Scientology. I had ups and downs (unecessary) and I had a lot of questions without answers, like "Where do I come from?", "What is really the sense of life?", "What comes afterwards?", and many more. I searched for answers but found none, so I did what I enjoyed doing. I travelled a lot, lived and worked in other countries, taught languages which was fun.

     I had always been interested in people and how they lived. I was curious, wanted to get to know everything and experience it. I had dreams that told me that there was something more that would give me all the answers. But then this was just a beautiful dream.

     Then I came across Scientology. I knew instinctively that it was the end of my search, and it was. That was in 1978. While on my first course (Success Through Communication), my life improved tremendously. What I studied made so much sense to me and I had the feeling of always having it deep inside me. I started to rediscover life and it's sense and the great adventures of Scientology began for me. I finally got my answers.

     I did a lot of courses, and found that the data was not just philosophy but I could apply it to my life and help others on a daily basis. I found that, basically, all is simple and that we ourselves make things complicated. An acknowledgement of what I had always thought before and that had gotten me some invalidation in the past, "You are naiive". I found that it is true, I am a spiritual being and not my body! What a relief! Since I have gotten back a lot of abilities which had been dormant (like in all of us). I can paint and sing again, as an example. I

      have realized my potentials, which are immense, more than I ever thought. I now know there is nothing I would not trust myself to do. I could learn and practice any profession if I really want to. And my intention and following a given course no matter what are back. And above all, I've found the most rewarding activity that I can imagine: to help others to help themselves to become free again. To help people to throw away all the bulk of problems, other determinisms, self invalidations and all the unwanted rest that keeps them from really being themselves. Also to help them to rehabilitate their immense abilities. So that they are strong, self-determined and happy again. I realized that after eons of suffering humanity went through, this is all made possible now. And all dreams have come true for all who wish to make it come true for themselves and others.

     For this, I thank and respect L Ron Hubbard without bounds. To me he is the best friend humanity has ever had. I am over and over again surprised how fast and lasting improvements come about in every course and every session in Scientology. My relationship with others has become very easy going simply because I understand them now.

      Before Scientology, I was sometimes nervous and even thought “I can’t do anything about it”. I just didn’t know how to handle situations I thought were extremely difficult. Now I feel competent and ready to overcome the most difficult situations because I know how.
