ello, my name is Carl Carltophersen, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I am currently the Manager of Information Systems in a food manufacturer. I am also going to school to get into the more exotic nuances of computing nowadays i.e. Visual Basic using ActiveX Data Objects, and SQL.

     My wife runs a preschool and daycare out of our home. My wife and I are trained Scientology counselors.

     I got into Scientology because I was looking for something and I was not finding it in normal society. I was happily married but there was no thrill left. I was tired of the News Media tripe about all the terrible things in the world, and I was tired of no one making sense, etc. etc. — it was like there had to be something better than this.

     Playing Bridge one night with a couple we found out they were in Scientology. I had never heard of Scientoloy, Dianetics or L. Ron Hubbard. It was all new to me. I heard how they had resolved some marital difficulties which interested me and then at their coffee table I was quite intrigued by the thing they called an E-Meter, which is used to assist the person receiving counseling to locate the precise areas of upset.

     I did a Personal Efficiency course and that led me to a Communications Course.
