ello, my name is Carol Downing, and here is a little bit about myself:

     As a child, I grew up at various lighthouses around South Africa's vast coastline. After completing high school, I started working in Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape. It was here where I first heard about Scientology from a Scientologist from Johannesburg. What he told me and what I read in various books he had, made total sense to me. It wasn't "wow! " for me, but rather a case of yes this makes sense, I can see how it fits into life and I can "think" with it. I then moved to Johannesburg and started studying Scientology and having auditing and I go to the Johannesburg North Organization.

     I have two children, Ryan who is very artistic and loves computers, and Shelley who is a very good gymnast and loves horse riding. Both children attend Summerhill Preparatory School, which is the school in Johannesburg which uses L. Ron Hubbard technology of study. I also love horse riding and enjoy water skiing and fishing.
