If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Scientology: A New Slant on Life.
This book really helped me with understanding what was going on in the world in a very basic way and that there was a reason why things were made to seem bleak and hopeless when they really were not.
