I was introduced to Scientology while finishing up a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California at Davis. One of the reasons I went to unversity was to get some unanswered questions I had accumulated throughout life answered once for all. However, what I came to find was a quick accumulation of more confusion, false information and frustration as iIcontinued the search. My uncle handed me a copy of Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health one day and I received it with great anticipation as I knew he had been doing tremendous things in San Francisco. After finishing the book , I had some answers and more importantly, I had some application for these answers to life. You see, Dianetics gave me an understanding of how the mind really works. It was not a lot of mumbo jumbo from an "academic ", psychiatrist or psychologist professor. It was information that when it was applied got results, and that is what I was after .... Results !
