ello, my name is Danny V. Rieke, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming and Montana. During the '60's, too young yet for rock and roll, my interests steered toward the physical sciences and the U.S. and Soviet space programs.

     Later, while in the U.S. Navy, I travelled all over the South Pacific and Indian Oceans, meeting fascinating people in many countries.

     During that tour of duty I also studied electronics and was introduced to early computers. A fellow sailor introduced me to a book by L. Ron Hubbard, Dianetics: Evolution of a Science. It is an account of the logical path of discovery and conclusions which Mr. Hubbard followed to the breakthrough of Dianetics. With my own background in the sciences, I found that book to be incredibly intelligent and clearly written. It showed me that all answers are basically simple and that a logical approach could resolve even the toughest of problems, no matter the subject.

     Over the years I have used L. Ron Hubbard's discoveries to further my own studies and understanding of many other subjects and, at the same time, improve my own I.Q. which has risen from about 130 to over 155.
