ello, my name is Des Hoole, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I was born in 1927 and grew up in the Bathurst district.

     After out-growing the farm school I spent a year at High School before joining the Training Ship "General Botha" for two years. I was not able to continue my career as an apprentice officer in the Merchant Navy as it was discovered that I had a color defect in my vision, so I went back to join my father and elder brother farming until 1948 when I was offered an opportunity to join the staff of a large canning company on their pineapple plantation. I was later appointed Field Officer for the company in the pineapple belt, organizing all the fruit being sent to the cannery. After 6 1/2 years I was appointed manager of their pineapple plantation.

     After 6 1/2 years as manager I decided I wanted to farm on my own account, so bought the farm, "Shortland". During this time I married Joan and we reared four lovely children.

     We farmed pineapples, cattle and sheep at Shortland and after thirty years our younger son decided to take over the farm from us.

     We built ourselves a house at Kenton-On-Sea and commute between our two homes, as I still have a keen interest in farming and like to know what's going on.

     We first started in Scientology in 1963 and have, over the years, done higher level training courses which changed out lives in every way, healthwise and spiritually.

     My hobbies are fishing, doing carpentry, reading and gardening between helping my sons with their farming.

     We have started on multi-level marketing and are very excited at the way it is developing.
