Ever since 1969 when I first studied Dianetics and Scientology, I have been learning how to help people effectively. It feels wonderful to know that you can help someone in distress, someone who is bereaved or someone who is ill and can really make a difference. Spiritually I recognized in 1969 that I was in a trap of my own making. I wanted to find out how to become free of unwanted emotions and how to deal with difficult relationships. Within a few days of starting my first course, my life changed completely and I felt like a new person. My confidence in myself soared and I no longer had any self-doubts. My life has continued to be an exciting adventure and I am in charge, thanks to my studies of L. Ron Hubbard's works.
