If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics : The Modern Science of Mental Health.
This book really helped me with understanding how people become someone other that themselves. You know , you always here people say : "Hey, you know you're just like your father or your mother", and you know what? When you're being like someone else, you're not really being yourself. What's wrong with being yourself?
It helped me understand when someone was reliving today what happened to them in the past. I learned that when you deal with and speak with people, so often you're speaking to their bad experiences instead of to them. Not only that but there is a solution to that, people could actually be freed from the bondage of their old bad experiences and in the process feel more free, more creative and able. I learned that anyone could help anybody with the techniques described in this book. I applied what I learned to others and observed them change and become happier, become themselves again. What a beautiful experience!
