My mother and I did the children's communications course together. It was tough going sometimes, but I made it through. I'm glad I did because it has helped me to know how to speak to people, and it has helped me in school too when I have to give a teach-back. I feel confident when I talk in front of the class now. The other day I was working as a waiter at the yacht mall and got lots of tips. The other waiters complained about it and wanted to know why they never got as much as me. Someone told my father later that I was very polite. I think it was because the course taught me how to talk to people.

      I have just finished the Learning How to Learn course. This helps you know when you don't know something so that you can go back and relearn it so that you get through your learning quickly so that there is more time to do fun things in life.
