If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.
This book really helped me with defining the goal of man and ways and means of attaining that goal. After only reading a few pages I was very interested, this caused me to investigate futher, and I am happy I did.
