ello, my name is Hilarie J.Rockl, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I am Canadian, live in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, 55 years of age, married for 33 years and have a 26 year-old daughter. My husband Ray and I have been involved with Scientology for 30 years. We own our own successful business and are involved in various community activities.

     Ray is very interested in the field of investments and business and he works with new businesses to help them succeed - through advice, seminars, etc.

     I work with individuals to help them resolve life difficulties, and also work with a local school using the study technology of L. Ron Hubbard to help kids be able to learn and be successful future citizens.

     In early 1968, Ray and I were travelling through Europe. We had both quite our jobs and saved enough money to travel for over a year. But although we enjoyed our travels, and the sights and cultures we visited, our own lack of ability to really communicate and be happy caused increasing problems as we were together 24 hours a day. While in Spain, we found two books - one being Scientology: A New Slant on Life.

     We were so intrigued, we changed our travel plans and went to England - the only address in the book. We met some very friendly people there, and were impressed by the fact that they 'seemed different - they had something special about them'. We took some courses, and our lives changed from that point. We promised each other that we would remain with Scientology as long as it answered our questions and we are still involved and still gaining valuable tools and knowledge to make our lives increasingly successful and happy - 30 years later!
