I am an Egyptian, born in Cairo, where I lived and grew up till the age of 21, when I moved to the UK, to pursue a career in music, but was faced with some serious problems of inability to integrate with others. Then I was introduced to Scientology in 1977. I was searching for a new direction in my life...something with which I can fulfill my ambitions as an ARTIST. I am a drummer and a percussionist. At that time, my major stumbelling block was my inability to deal with other people, as well as expressing myself to others, both verbally as well as atistically.

     Then, a friend introduced me to a course called ”THE COMMUNICATIONS COURSE”!!! In this course I learned the basic tools of communication, and I also learned how to articulate my thoughts. I realised after starting to APPLY the ideas in the course, that there were more people who understood me than I imagined before, and more to the point ...... that I could understand other people better.

     I also continued on, learning more of Mr. Hubbard's ideas, and did another course called ”THE HUBBARD QUALIFIED SCIENTOLOGIST” course....in which I also learned very useful and workable ways with which I can be cause over my environment. I became more effective in life and was much more able to be part of society...as I learnd how to become cause in my life.

     I also continued with recieving the Dianetic & Scientology counselling, Auditing, which helped me tremendously in achieving a clearer insight into why I had been feeling as I did, and what was TRUELY the real me. My confidence shot up and my ability to confront life and it's problems improved immensly. Now I am a very sought after world class percussionist, and I have worked with the greatest of artists such as Mr. Peter Gabriel, Robert Plant & Jimmy Page (of the Led Zeppelin Group), The Gypsy kings, Loreena Mc Kennitte, Boy George, and many, many more of the top world class leaders in the field of music. I also have 17 albums of my own in Egyptian music.

     I feel that my success as a person and as an artist is directly the result of me applying the teachings of Scientology into my personal life and into my artistic career. I recommend you try it for yourself.
