If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.
This book really helped me with understanding the mind and understanding why people have problems they do not seem to be able to resolve. As an example I used to suffer from bronchitis chronically and after receiving Dianetics counseling it disappeared. This was amazing to me after suffering from this disease for years.
