The application of Scientology technology in my life happesn so smoothly now that I often forget what I know. It is like driving a car. It becomes second nature.
For instance, when I run into a difficult time production-wise, I know exactly what to do in order to ensure that I get things going at top speed again. I am an investigator. I do work for a lot of different insurance companies. I also happen to be the top producer in my office and a number of the people who hire us on will not use anyone else for their work. I am top producer at our office.
I also am a musician, and by applying simple pieces of Scientology philosophy to my guitar playing I have increased my proficiency and writing capability, musically and lyrically. My interest in the viewpoints of other people has grown and I find I can be more outgoing and am willing to communicate to virtually anyone.
I am always amazed when I run into an acquaintance whom I have given some Scientology or Dianetics information to and see how they have done with it. It is even more amazing that they, one for one, always bring up whatever it was that I gave them from one of L. Ron Hubbard's books to use, too. They never seem to forget what the technology did for them.
Like any technology, it takes study, training and application. But it pays incredible dividends. One day I was at a home inspection on an insurance claim. I had forgotten my tape measure and the homeowner had loaned me hers. I was chatting with her and did not notice that her tape measure had a large nick on the side. As I let the tape rewind I felt it cut my finger. The lady was immediately freaked out. She ran to the kitchen to get a paper towel and some water. Meanwhile I began applying a simple piece of Scientology technology aimed at "assisting" the body heal itself. After a new minutes the cut stopped bleeding. The lady was standing right there and could not believe her eyes. She asked me where I learned that sort of thing and I told her it was a piece of Scientology. I got her a copy of the manual explaining how to do the action I had used with such success in front of her.
Well, a couple of weeks later she called and asked me to come over. When I got there she told me how she had been working in her garden pulling stones out of the flowers when she cut herself on a buried piece of concrete block. She immediately started to bleed and it hurt too. She decided to try the "assist" that I had used, and it worked for her. She also used it later at work when she banged her knee hard on her desk. The result was she did not even end up with a bruise. She is now reading Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health and doing great.
