If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Self Analysis.
Self-Analysis has been very helpful to me. When I feel blue I will pull this book out and do some of the activities listed in it and it always pulls me out of any funk that I might get in.
