ello, our names are Karen and John Atkinson, and here is a little bit about ourselves:

     John and I first came to Hawaii aboard our yacht "Sojourner" (which we built ourselves, in New Zealand) in 1985. I thought we would stop, work for awhile and then continue sailing around the world (or at least until our money ran out.) HE thought, "Once we get to Hawaii, I want to DO something!"

     So here we still are - DOING SOMETHING! While sailing, both of us decided that we wanted to eventually start our own business and secondly, we wanted to work on our "spiritual life". Sailing is very spiritual - communicating with dolphins, birds and nature itself.

     We got into Scientology after getting into trouble buying a business that had products that did not do what the public relations materials said the products should do! We also were having trouble in our relationship with each other, and I had a herniated disk in my back so I could not sit without a pillow.

     Both a business associate and my brother introduced us to the local Dianetics Foundation in Hawaii where we received some Dianetics auditing and our first communication course. All I could say was "WOW". One of my first sessions produced a "movie" and left me breathless!

     And then when we went to the communication course and started to REALLY learn how to communicate - well - things just got better and better.

     We since have turned our business into a worthwhile and viable enterprise with ethical products, and many satisfied customers. Our marriage grows stronger every day and oh! I haven't needed that pillow for 10 years now!
