ello, my name is Karen M. Brown, and here is a little bit about myself:

     Currently I’m an executive at a company in Salt Lake City, Utah. I’m married and have a very close family - we all get along real well. The rest of my family is not in Scientology but are very supportive of me being in Scientology.

     As I grew up I really wasn’t a very nice person - I treated people with disrespect, was a liar, I stole things and took drugs. I was a real problem for my parents and wasn’t very nice to my sisters. I didn’t have a lot of friends and was unsociable.

     I met my husband while I was in the army. He was an air traffic controller for the government and I was an army air traffic controller. He was a Scientologist. I had never heard about it.

     We started dating and he took me to an event in Monterey, California and from that I became very interested in Scientology.

     At the time we were living in Modesto, California. From that event I went with my husband to the Sacramento, California Church of Scientology and did a course and have been a firm believer in Scientology ever since.
