I had no idea at this point that Scientology had the answers. The secretary at work at that time was a Scientologist and she recommended to my dad that there was a solution available which would work: The Narconon Program. (The Narconon Program uses the life saving technology that L. Ron Hubbard discovered about drugs and how a person can free him/ herself from it's "death grip".) My parents doubted whether there was anything which could work in my case. Thankfully they still believed in me. I reluctantly admitted that I was not completely in control of my actions and somewhat out of touch with reality and so I agreed to at least give it a shot.

     Having been through so many programs and been told so much about so many things that didn't work I was very skeptical about anything really working. But I had nothing to lose since I knew sure enough that I was headed straight downhill towards disaster at a faster pace than ever before. My years of drug use and abuse had caused so much damage to me physically and mentally that there was no where else to go but Up or D...Dead!

     So little did I know at that time! The Narconon Program was different. It worked!

     I was finally free of drugs and the insanity of drugs. I was free from the downward spiral of death that had me trapped for so many years. I knew for the first time since the insanity began that Freedom and Hope were "real". I had been almost completely hopeless and, where all other programs had failed to work, this program developed by L. Ron Hubbard worked without a doubt. I didn't just feel it, I knew it!

      I was absolutely amazed! L. Ron Hubbard had discovered and made available a road to freedom for people like ME. What a gift! I successfully walked on a "yellow brick road" through the jungle of drugs, confusion and darkness and straight into Life! I realized at that time that there was something very unique and special about this guy named L. Ron Hubbard.

     Who was he? How did he discover all of this rational, practical, applicable information? Why did he offer his discoveries for me, and moreover mankind, to use? What more did he discover that I didn't know that could work so miraculously as the Narconon Program had for me?

     I knew this much for sure. I was drug-free. I was happy. I was able to be myself. I didn't have drugs in my body anymore and I could communicate with others ...without needing drugs! In addition, I hadn't been told what to think or how to think. Everywhere else I they had told me how to think. In fact, I learned for myself how to think for myself and how to learn by myself. I only had to apply what I learned and I clearly saw for myself that what I had learned was not only real, and that it worked, but that I could use what I learned to live and survive with the greatest of ease and control.

     Wow! Not only was I free of drugs, but now I had an arsenal of powerful tools that "worked like magic at my command". All I had to do was use them.

     I have been a Scientologist now for four (4) years and my experiences have been nothing less than life changing! I have found out who I am and I continue to learn more about myself and the world in which we live than I had ever dreamed possible!

     The bottom line is that Scientologists are just like YOU and I!

     Every one of us, at some point in our lives, has looked for the answers about ourselves and about life. Scientology has the answers! No one has ever told me what to think or how to think. I am in complete control of my life now. I think for myself and, thanks to the help from our secretary and my parent's unending belief in the real me, I have found my answers in Scientology via the Narconon program.

     Thanks to L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology, I found me, I found Freedom and I found the Truth and Knowledge that I had been searching for all of my life!

     I not only found these valuable treasures, but I found my priceless treasure, best friend and soul-mate, my wife Anna. We are very happily married and together we accomplish our goals and help others to help themselves find Freedom and Happiness. Why? Because we have been fortunate enough to have found something in Scientology so valuable and precious that it's only natural to want to share what we have found with others. What good is something so valuable and precious if it's not used to help others? Scientology and Scientologists are effectively working together to create a better world!

     I'm alive now because I didn't stop looking for answers and more importantly because Scientology was there for me. I would not be alive today if Scientology had not been discovered and made available by L. Ron Hubbard!

     Scientology is for YOU and I and all of mankind to use! You can be sure I'm not going to sit around and wait again for the answers to come to me! Now I know where I can find the answers, I go straight to the Church of Scientology! Simple like that!

     You have undoubtedly asked yourself at one time or another "What is Scientology?" and "Why are so many people talking about it?" The first thing that I would like to ask you is "Do you believe everything you hear or that someone tells you?" Most likely you don't. Probably you prefer to see something or use something yourself first before you believe it to be true. That's Great! That's all you need to do! Find out the truth for yourself!

     There are so many other people in this world who would like nothing better than to see you continue to be a slave to the world around you and for you to know nothing more, and even less than you know now, by confusing you with false information and confusing you even more by imposing their own beliefs upon you. The more stupid you are, the easier it is for them to control you! Don't be fooled by these other people, "Think for Yourself!"

     One of the greatest basic truths about Scientology is that you "THINK FOR YOURSELF!"

     You've made it this far out of the trap, now keep going, don't look back, and find out for yourself the Truth about Scientology!

     Without a doubt, it will be the wisest move you ever made!
