If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.
This book really helped me with understanding how the mind works -- for you and against you. I also learned how to eliminate non-productive crazy stuff your own mind can generate. This was great!
