One of my biggest successes in Scientology came when I was only 12 years old. I had been puttering along in school -- never really enjoying it or doing more than just average in my classes. I took a small study course over the summer at the local Scientology Mission called The Basic Study Manual. This course armed me with the goods to actually get an education within a public school system where the odds were stacked against me (and my fellow students) to obtain an education. Upon completing the course my grades shot up. My reading level soared. I never looked back. This was just at the grass roots level and it changed my life! So much more has happened since then.
