ello, my name is Lauren Blaine, and here is a little bit about myself:

     l'm a singer/songwriter from a small town in Oregon. I've been making my living in this area along with sales & marketing all my life. My parents still live in Oregon and I go to visit them 2 - 3 times a year. My son is interested in physics and astronomy...maybe he'll discover a new planet or solar system one day. Whatever he does, I'm sure I'll be proud of him - he's a cool guy.

      I opted to study Scientology instead of studying music in college. I felt like Scientology had more practical information for use in life and for my creativity as an artist. As a matter of fact, I use it constantly when I'm performing. There is nothing like looking into the eyes of the people you're performing for and seeing that you and your communication of your art is really reaching them - down into their souls. That may sound cliche but when it happens it is truly exhilarating.

      I've been able to improve this ability by using L. Ron Hubbard's research. I try to play guitar every chance I get (which in no way means that I'm a guitarist) I like to play pool and talk with my friends for hours when we have the chance and to help them in any way I can to help them achieve their goals.

      I think that people can be helped to understand life better so therefore control it more effectively instead of life controlling them.

      The key to all of this is communication.

      When a person can communicate better he can better see what the problem is in front of him and formulate a more effective solution.

      That's what interests me.
