I have been a Scientologist most of my life having been brought up by parents who were themselves Scientologists. During my formative years at school I found that the use of study principles as delineated by L. Ron Hubbard were most useful to me. The study methodology is simple but effective, precise and easy to use. There is a definite accent in Scientology on application and for one to use a tool or tools and then observe its efficacy for oneself. I later studied up on communication. I found out what communication really is. I discovered its component parts and practiced its use until I became confident and comfortable. It is easy for me to talk to people, known or strangers, as I so choose. In auditing, which is a method of counseling, I discovered things about myself which I had previously been unaware of. I was better able to interact and deal with people and situations, my level of responsibility increased, I found out why things troubled me and why I reacted in certain situations in a non-optimum fashion. Once discovered, these things ceased to trouble me.

     I could go on at much greater length but suffice it to say that I know I am a much more capable and happy individual, more responsible and caring of my environment and associates than if I had not taken up Scientology.
