I have been in Scientology for over twenty five years. Before Scientology I was searching for answers to life & had been involved in many different groups . I had tried everything from yoga philosophy & practice to many others like astrology, ARE (Association for Research and Enlightenment, SFF (Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship) and studied the Kabbalah.

     My life was changed drastically after I became a Scientologist. I started becoming so excited & confident about how Scientology could answer all my questions about religion etc. I changed from being very quiet & introverted to talking to anyone who would listen to me. I was a very shy small town girl from Michigan who moved to the big city of Flint, Michigan. I started having migraine headaches which came more often & more intense with time. I was given many different medications (drugs) to relieve the pain. I was studying in the Academy one day when I started getting a migraine headache. I was told that I could not take any drugs while I was studying so to make a long story short, I found that I could get by with out taking any more drugs which I thought I would never be able to do, and I have not taken any drugs since then & the headaches have disappeared. After my first auditing in a small Mission in Chicago, I discovered that life was a game & that I could learn how to play it much better than I had been doing. I learned that I could create big effects, that people would listen to me , which came from the first Communication course that I took in Scientology. I like to tell about my wins that I had shortly after I got into Scientology. I was invited to a group of women that met regularly to discuss books & often had leaders like a Rabbi from the University come to speak. I did not know that I was going to be asked to talk ,but I did & I kept every one asking me for more about Scientology & we continued through lunch & until the meeting ended. I was always the one who sat quietly in a group previously & never said anything .

     Then I discovered that the Pastor at my church was starting to listen to me & come to me for suggestions, where previously, I was more in awe of him, & looked up to him, this now seemed to change since I became more confident that people could change for the better with the knowledge gained from reading books , taking courses & getting auditing.
