ello, my name is Lorrie O'Brien, and here is a little bit about myself:

     About 20 years ago I had just graduated with a degree in geology, when my sister, an artist, invited me to a luncheon given by another artist she had just met, who had been a girl I’d gone though elementary & high school with. I had lost touch with her totally. I was delighted to see her again. On her coffee table was a paperback book & in the course of our pre-luncheon chatting I picked it up. Reading the cover I suddenly had the feeling I could be the most important book I would ever read, & I asked my friend if I could borrow it. She’d promised it to another guest (a dress designer friend) but promised to get one for me the next week. I was so anxious to get it and start reading it right away when she delivered it. Dianetics was the most exciting adventure of my life. I certainly shared this adventured with my husband & three wonderful children.
