I was a teenager in the 1970's. I completed a university degree, marched on the streets in protests, studied Astrology, Buddhism, The Bible, Primal Scream and several other texts to find the answers. Yet still I was searching to handle my communication problems on a personal level, and a workable philosophy of the universe on a broader level. Someone gave me the book Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, so of course I read this too. Initially what impressed me was the logic. It was a scientific book on the mind - it required no "faith". However, scientific results had to be verified with real results I could see so I sat my girlfriend down to be the test case. An hour later she had recalled an early childhood incident and had resolved a long standing upset with her father. I was more astounded that I had helped produce this miracle than she was. At that stage I knew I had found the workable philosophy I had been searching for.

      Of course that was 20 years ago, and I now run a successful business, along my artistic interests, and am married with two children. I am still impressed with the workability and logic of L. Ron Hubbard's work. I apply this knowledge daily. I recently have had enormous success handling the so called "learning difficulties" of my eldest son. He went from 5 years behind in reading level, to his reading age in one term - just by finding the correct area that was holding him back. On the communication problems - they long ago disappeared. Life to me now is busy, but an adventure and I daily enjoy the fruits of L. Ron Hubbard's technology, in discovering myself, others and the wonderful mysteries this universe holds.
