ello, my name is Madhuri Hoogstraat, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I am an Indian. I came to Holland in 1989 and got married to a Dutch man. My husband is also studying Scientology. I like travelling a lot. I love living on hills or mountains. I like to live with the nature. I am involved with all kinds of activities. I do bookkeeping for my husband.

     I like to flourish and prosper and do well in life. I am very fond of music and I also paint. I am a very friendly person and I like to make lots of friends. What I like to do best is being able to help another person.

     I happened to come in Scientology in India. I was living in India. I was married to a guy who was a heavy alcohol drinker and I wanted him to give up his drinking, so somebody told me to read this book called Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.

     I bought this book from a bookshop and I found it so interesting that I kept reading it without sleep or food until I finished it. This book gave me all the answers I was looking for. I was able to take control of my life. I realized how my life was going downhill. Since then my life has never been the same. I was able to divorce my alcoholic husband, got a better job and later moved to Holland and got married. Now I am living a very happy life. If it was not for Scientology, I would have still been stuck with an alcoholic husband and being unhappy.
