ello, my name is Mark Barber, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I am a dentist practicing in Port St. Lucie, Florida. I graduated from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. I will be celebrating my 12th wedding anniversary in August, '98 with my lovely wife, Judy. We have three American Eskimo dogs and five cats! Our pets keep us busy. I enjoy playing guitar and piano and listen primarily to Jazz.

      It was interesting how I came to find out about Scientology. I had been practicing for several years with slow increases in income. A friend of mine, also a dentist, told me that his uncle and father, also dentists, had recently taken some business management courses that had allowed their 30 year old family practice to double its income in just six months! The uncle was former president of the West Virginia Dental Association, so needless to say I was very interested in anything that he said worked.

      Judy and I took a 10 day workshop through Sterling Management in Los Angeles and more than tripled our income in the coming year! The management skills Sterling provides were written by L. Ron Hubbard. After seeing how successful they were, I wanted to see what else Hubbard had written about. I was pleased to find that he had spent decades studying life - man's interaction with himself and all other life and the consequences of that interaction - and his findings, truths about life and living, were called Scientology.

      Scientology means: the study of knowledge or truth.
