Since I have been in Scientology, I have found answers to questions that I have had since I was a child. I got into Scientology when I was 30 years old. Before that time I had looked for a philosopy or religion that had answers to the questions "Who am I?", "What am I doing here?", "Where am I going?" and such basic things.

     I went to the Westwood Mission, where I saw people doing communication drills. Just the sight of this had the most profound effect on me! I sort of felt that there was an anethesia being lifted off of my soul (which I wasn't sure existed). I was stunned because I saw something effective at it's most basic going on and I was amazed as I had never seen this before. The amazement lasted for about six months. I started the basic communication course and remembered that a long time ago, ages and ages, there were things liked this that worked. This was a surprise as I didn't beleive in past existances. I didn't really look at it to carefully. I was very busy trying to figure out how a communication skill could create such major changes on the spot.
