If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics:The Modern Science of Mental Health.
This book really helped me with understanding how the mind "really" works and the reasons why I was never able to achieve the goals I felt I should. I gained an understanding of the problems all men face in attempting to survive at a high level and the answers necessary to resolve those problems. Now, whenever I see other people struggling, I am able to help them to overcome whatever barriers they feel are keeping them from achieving their own goals by applying what I learned in this book.
