ello, my name is Michelle Platt, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I have been around Scientology since I was eight years old, when my parents got into it. They never pushed it on me.

     I didn't become active in it until I was 17. I attended a number of different churches with my friends throughout high school, but didn't feel that any of them helped me. Watching my parents through the years, I saw the gains they had and how it helped their relationship, and decided to give it a try. I got a lot out of my first course, and have been an active Scientologist ever since.

     I have devoted my life to working with children, particularly in the field of education. I worked at a private school for seven years and now home school my own kids (three boys and one girl), plus two others. I also baby sit a couple of younger kids.

     In those rare quiet moments of my life, I love to read. Science Fiction and Fantasy are my favorites, but I also enjoy well-written biographies and historical romances.
