When I first got into Scientology there was a lot of information about Scientology in the papers. Some stories were so outrageous I just HAD to check it out for myself. Only then did I learn how dangerous that "collective group thought" in the world can be. I was always somewhat of an independent thinker and I found that Scientology was true for me. I instantly started using it and I noticed my personal abilities improving. Today I am a lecturer and scientist at the University of Hawaii.
When I signed up for my first communication course 23 years ago, I had been doing drugs. So I had to wait a few days before I was allowed to start. That day, not only did I stop doing drugs forever, but I read the entire Dianetics book by the time I started my course a few days later.
I don't ever want to think of where I would be today without the knowledge I received over the years through Scientology, starting that one day on the communication course. That was my lucky day.
