I came across Scientology in Manchester whilst shopping one day in the summer of 1983. I was studying at college at this time, I would say that I really had no direction in life and did not really have any goals in life.

     I passed the Scientology centre on Deansgate in Manchester where a well dressed gentleman offered me the chance of taking a free personality test, I took him up on the offer. I found that test accurately reflected the true situation in my life, ’so what’s new ’ I thought to myself, sure I knew much of what I the test result said to be true, but I did not really feel that gave me any answers nor was I really aware that it was possible to improve your abilities.

     I took an introductory course, more from the view of well let’s see if this really works, which to my surprise improved my communication abilities no end, being at college chatting up girls was my prime concern at this age, however I learned skills in this course which have I have used to this day.

     I used to get ill or feel down and lifeless from time to time and better at other times, I used to put this down to the amount I drunk, or my poor diet, I experienced much relief when I studied the ups-and-downs-in-life course, this very simple course which gave me great relief by understanding the basic principles which leads a persons life to roller coaster.

     Since my introduction to Scientology in 1983 I have studied many courses, the information I have learned is very precise and totally practical, easy to actually use and when applied it works. This has given me a route in my life, I knew I wanted a career in business and with the help of these courses I built myself a life to be proud of , I started my first business when I was 19 years old and sold it three years later, my current business I started in 1994 and with in three years the sales of this business had exceeded £5,000,000 . I now have a great interest in other people and their well being or progress in life, prior to my introduction to Scientology I did not really care much about others. These interests extend to improving education & literacy, Charitable activities, Criminal reform, Mental Health reform, and other activities which improve the world in which we live.

     I have had much Scientology counseling and training, this has resulted in great personal ability , happiness and satisfaction. The training I have done has given me my personal certainty and great abilities in life, I strongly recommend that you do not take my word for it but check it out for yourself.

     I think that Scientology stands on the toes of some people in society (vested interests) who would prefer you didn’t improve yourself, and who allow the decline of society into a criminal drug crazed mess. The reason that I think this is because when I started in Scientology some people would tell me ’strange stories’ which each time I checked into them were completely false. My suggestion is think for yourself and look at what Scientology is and not what I or any one else suggests it is!
