If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.
This book really helped me with understanding the mind and the basis for psychosomatic illnesses as well as why people react funny at times. I also learned how I could communicate more effectively with people.
