If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Scientology: A New Slant on Life.
This book really helped me with a broad overview of several areas that make up Scientology. A New Slant On Life gave me a strong sense of who I was and how to reach my goals. The sections called "Two Rules For Happy Living" really hit home for me. The chapter entitled "You Can Be Right", has helped me turn many an argument into a productive conservation. Imagine having someone tell you how to help a difficult person. That is true wealth!
