ello, my name is Rick Harrison, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I live in Boulder, Colorado (USA) and I love it here. We have great skiing nearby in the winter and nearly perfect weather in the summer. I work hard at my software consulting business and read a lot, but I find plenty of time to get outside.

     I am very happily married. My wife and I have traveled together all over this country and in Germany, England and France. We also enjoy skiing, bicycling and camping in the nearby mountains.

     I collect books on a wide variety of subjects, but I’m particularly interested in the history of philosophy, religion, science and technology on this planet. It never ceases to amaze me how, while countries, religions, technologies and social orders are created, survive and die, people are still basically the same as they have always been as far back as recorded history goes. It is said that “History repeats itself”. Will we ever learn from all that history? I hope so.
