     I first read a Scientology article in 1949 or 1950 and immediately bought a copy of Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health. I then read the book and started doing the therapy as described. I ran a painful emotion incident involving the death of my sister - which my father had blamed me for. This incident ran with full perception and I experienced considerable relief. I feel it saved my life.
