My first success in Scientology was learning to like myself. After that, life became something to explore and enjoy. Scientology has helped me with the patience and attention to detail needed for the restoration of old cars and for my jobs, as well as helping my reaction time and to maintain the calmness needed in pistol competition. It has helped my interpersonal skills at work (I actually get along with and like my boss, which was not always the case). It has helped make me the highest paid employee in my group. Not too bad for a guy who could had been (and was) taking the downhill path called drugs.
