My Success in Scientology

One of my biggest wins in Scientology came after doing a first course in communication. I found I was now more able to remain calm and focused in upsetting situations; able to carry on, and continue to be in communication with those around me and with the threatening environment. Consequently I am able to be more helpful to myself and others.

Another big realization came through auditing, which is Scientology's method personal, one-on-one counseling. I gradually became more aware of who and what I am, and what the world around me is really composed of; where I might have really come from, and what is likely after this life is over. This has brought about a more peaceful feeling about life and death.

I was able, through Scientology, to introduce my children to an ethical way of life, where both learned the value of helping others, living a clean life, free of drugs and the non-survival practices that their peers were getting into. There was no forcing this upon them. They each came to understand these things for themselves, not as a matter of "you must do thus-and-so" but as a realization that these principles were for their own benefit. Also, they learned the value of thinking for themselves, and of following their own true goals.

One of my favorite things about Scientology is that is a practical religious philosophy. In other words, it shows you things you can do to make life better. You try them in your own life. If they work for you, they're true. If not, they're not. This is what Ron Hubbard has said: "If it's true for you, it's true."
