As a teenager of the 70's, I made many foolish decisions and by the age of 20 was a very unhappy, insecure young adult. A friend introduced me to Scientology. When I then applied what I learned I was very surprised indeed to find that it changed things for the better. The more I studied and used what I learned the better I did on my job, as well as in my relationship with my friends and family. Slowly the feeling of insecurity and low self-esteem started dissipating and was replaced with a calm, satisfying confidence in myself. While there is much technology in the world today, there appears to be very little common sense. What has always impressed me about Scientology is that Ron Hubbard was able to distill this elusive element out of our hectic culture and present it in very usable terms. The lives of my family and I are the richer for it. On a spiritual level I have been constantly in the search of truth. It is in this area that I began to appreciate the spiritual aspects of the subject. Not bounded by beliefs and dogma, I found what was true for me. This has helped me realize who I really am, and what it means to have personal integrity, honesty and trust. I now know that I am capable of achieving a goal I desire and am limited only by myself. It's a very satisfying feeling.
