ello, my name is Scott K. Saks, and here is a little bit about myself:

     When I arrived in Scientology in 1972, I had recently attended a couple of years of college as a Psychology major. You see, I had always been interested in the mind and what makes man what he is. I needed to know more. I needed to know what made me the way I was, because I was not happy with how I was, and who I was being, and wanted to change me. Unfortunately, after studying the subject of Psychology I found it was an unscientific, unworkable, self-contradictory subject. I dropped out of college disillusioned and quite concerned that I might not find the answer. I knew that I wanted to be something much more than I was, because I suspected that I was really much more than I knew.

      I proceeded to study other religions including Eastern Religions, where I found more truth that I could understand, more than I had found in all of my education to that point. It seemed to have relevance, however, it seemed like it only would take me so far. It did help me, but I needed a more western approach, more scientific.

      Then, one day while I was walking down the street in New York City, a woman approached me and asked if I was interested in hearing a lecture on the mind. I was curious.

      After the first lecture I heard in Scientology I immediately recognized that the subject made sense, was workable, and had what seemed to be an explanation of what man was doing.

      I have been a Scientologist now for over 30 years. It is the road to truth. I employ the information and technology of Scientology in all activities in my life and find that it does help in any area in which I have trouble. I can say with certainty that I am on the road to truth that I have sought for a very long time.
