If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Science of Survival.
This book really helped me with the evaluation of who to work with, who to have as a friend, who I could trust, etc., etc. It gave details on the scale of human evaluation so that one doesn't have to make big mistakes in life, by trusting those not worthy of trust.
In other words you can be causative over your friends and acquaintances and choose people who are wanting to survive - and not succumb taking you with them.
