ello, my name is Shirley Hambrick, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I got in Scientology through friends of mine. I hadn't seen them for a couple of years, during which time they'd done some courses and services at the Church. When I met them again, I noticed how much better they were doing in their marriage, and in their business. They no longer did drugs and were far more productive and happy. I decided to see if Scientology could do anything for me.

      At that point my life was ok, but I knew it could be better, for example, I'd lost someone close to me a few years before and when little things reminded me of her, I'd feel the devastation of her death all over again. After a few hours of Dianetics auditing(as described in Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health by L. Ron Hubbard) I handled all the upset connected to her death, and could think of her without all the negative emotions I'd always felt before. It was wonderful!!

      After some other services, including the Purification Rundown, I felt more alive and energetic and optimistic than I had for years! I met and married my husband (also a Scientologist) and joined staff at the Church so I could help others. We now have 3 children and have moved to West Virginia to be close to my husband's aging parents. I home-school our children and have found that what I've learned as a Scientologist is invaluable in bringing them up to be sane and happy. I am a member of an Art-Craft here and as well as painting portraits I am engraver and engrave glass and eggs. I am currently teaching myself how to carve designs into ostrich eggs and I sell them in shows and local galleries, I am constructing my own web-site to show and sell the eggs.
